The paintings in this show come out of a 2 year journey of personal rediscovery & reinvention of love within oneself and for others. The exhibition includes my 2012 greyscale "Break apart - break up art" series, which is about growing through being alone, testing your emotional boundaries & reflecting and listening to your inner voice.
The series is complemented with a row of more recent colourful works of a wiser self, slowly awaking, envisioning perfection, failing, learning, trying again. The hazy colours are inspired by what I see with my inner eyes while having an orgasm, when energy & endorphins becomes visible. It marks an evolution within the way I create, leading to the large canvas of my most recent work which also features in the poster: "The harmony of mutual lightning".
