Exhibition statement:

“Mine are the dreams of the sleepless” is like a big headline for my
style of art - a line that has been in my head for years, ever since I
started turning my dreams into paintings. It sometimes feels like I have several people's dreams in my head because the contents are too bizarre. They seem as though they must originate from more than one person's sleeping brain.
These people are left sleepless now, as I have their dreams.
Some paintings in this exhibition are directly painted dreams, whereas
others stem from everyday emotions wrapped into symbols, colours and
stardust – the fabric dreams are made from
.
